These are some of the best events to photograph in December 2022: the full Moon, Mars at opposition, the Geminids meteor shower, Comet 81P/Wild, Mercury at greatest eastern elongation, the Ursids meteor shower, 5 conjunctions of the Moon with Jupiter, Venus, Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter, the aurora borealis (northern lights) and the Milky Way.
